Alida Lamagna (Assistant Teacher) began her dance training at Connecticut Concert Ballet and continued to study and perform in numerous Nutcrackers and spring productions there for 14 years.  She has been a jazz student of Christina Shortt for ten years. She has studied locally with Alyce Carella and at New England Dance Center, as well as attended master classes with Frank Hatchett and David Howard.  She has attended summer programs at Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Johnson, VT and with Briansky Ballet at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA on full scholarship.  In the 2011 season, Alida was choreographer and manager of the Suffield High School Dance Team.  She has recently added Hip Hop and Ballroom to her classical ballet background.
