JR is a graduate of Hoffstra University with a BA in Dance. James began his dance training at Dance 10 Studios where he was a member of the Dance 10 Touring Company. He also studied Ballet and Partnering at the Connecticut Concert Ballet. James was mentored by Master Jazz Teacher Frank Hatchett and trained at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC for many years. JR has danced professionally with the Judy Dworin Dance Project and is currently a member of the Civic Ballet of CT Outreach Dance Ensemble.
